Salmon \u2013 1 medium fillet, sliced into three equal-sized pieces (Around 400 gm)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">2. Oil \u2013 2 &#8211; 3 tsp\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Butter &#8211; 1 &#8211; 1.5 tbsp<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #666666;\">Spice mix<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">3. Pepper powder \u2013 1\/2 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Chilly powder \u2013 1\/2 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Paprika \u2013 1\/2 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Cumin powder \u2013 1\/4 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Garlic powder \u2013 1\/2 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Onion powder \u2013 1\/4 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dried oregano \u2013 1\/8 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dried thyme \u2013 1\/8 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Salt \u2013 A little less than 1\/2 tsp<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">Mix all the above ingredients for the spice mix. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\"><strong>Method<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">1. In a small bowl, mix all the spices mentioned under spice mix.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">2. Brush salmon pieces on both sides with 2 &#8211; 3 tsp melted butter \/ oil. Sprinkle them evenly with spice mixture, on all sides. Rub well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #666666;\">3. Heat 1 &#8211; 1.5 tbsp butter in a cast iron pan or nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillet in the hot pan. Allow it to cook for about\u00a0 30 seconds on high, then turn the heat down to medium and allow the salmon to cook for a few minutes on each side or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Serve hot.
