Ingredients (For 4 tacos)
1. Shrimp – 12, cleaned
2. Kashmiri chilly powder /paprika – 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder – 1/2 tsp
Chipotle pepper – 1/4 tsp (optional)
Cumin powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – To taste
For the salsa
3. Avocado, ripe but firm – 1/2, chopped
Mango, ripe but firm – 1/2, chopped
Red onion / spring onion – 1 tbsp, finely chopped
Tomato, firm – 1/4 cup, chopped
Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
Jalapeno – 1 tsp, finely chopped
Cilantro – 2 tbsp, finely chopped
Salt – To taste
4. Sour cream – 4 tsp
5. Olive oil – 2 tbsp or as required to fry
Method
1. In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients for the mango salsa and set aside.
2. Marinate shrimp with ingredients numbered 2 for at least 10 mts. Grill / shallow fry them in 2 tbsp oil over medium-high heat for 1.5 – 2mts on each side or until browned and done. Remove to a plate lined with paper towel.
3. When ready to serve, warm up 4 corn tortillas and divide the shrimp among them. Top with 2 – 3 tbsp salsa and1 tsp sour cream. Enjoy!
